I’m Tom Johnson, the proud president of Strong Heart Homes. I joined the Navy because I believe in defending this nation so all people would have their freedom and live a good life. I practice this belief every day by providing a great way of life for people that need assistance in their lives. I opened my first home in 1999 and have been serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities ever since. My family is extremely important to me, and I love them very much. My family is my team, and we work very hard as a team to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to ensure they have a good life. I love spending time with my family and enjoy fishing.
Hello, I am Cindy Johnson, the vice president of Strong Heart Homes. I have worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID) and developmental disabilities (DD) since 1999. I have been a provider for individuals with ID/DD since 2012. I value family above everything else and I strive to create a welcoming home for the individuals that Strong Heart Homes provide services to. On my time off you will most likely find me spending time with my family and searching Pinterest for a fun project to take on.
My name is Heather Saechao and I am the Secretary of Strong Heart Homes. I have been working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1999. I aspire to leave a legacy of having improved not just individual lives, but also the field of ID/DD services as a whole. I have seen firsthand how a home that prioritizes the individuals, supplies consistency, engages in support, and focuses on people’s strengths, rather than weaknesses can change lives for the better. I hope to implement all I have learned and expand upon it to create encouraging homes for people to build their lives.
My name is Kailey Johnson, I am the Communications Director and Head of HR (Human resources) of Strong Heart Homes. My parents opened their first home when I was 5 years old and since then I have had a deep desire to assist people with their lives! My parents always taught me that teamwork is an important and valuable tool when working with people, and I stand by that. I have been a caregiver ever since 2014 and love what I do! When I’m not working you can find me spending time with family, crafting, and singing! I am looking forward to meeting and helping more people in need!
Hello, I am Jordyn Johnson, the Treasurer of Strong Heart Homes. My family opened their first foster care home for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities before I was born. Growing up and spending time with the individuals my family served has benefited me in my look at life and how I see others. Advocating for people with disabilities and helping create an environment for a good quality of life is important to me. After getting my Associate degree, I became a Services Coordinator for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. After my work as a Services Coordinator, I made the decision to join the family business and took my place at Strong Heart Homes. When I’m not at work, I am most likely to have my nose in a good book or spend time with my family.
My name is Kao Saechao and I am Quality Assurance and Maintenance/Mechanic for Strong Heart Homes. My goal is to make sure that the individuals who Strong Heart Homes provides services for have a safe and comfortable home to live in. I enjoy spending time with my family, going fishing, and working on cars.
